WARP 38001 Series
The WARP Mechanics 38001 series consists of turnkey unified storage appliances, providing advanced block-level RAID via iSCSI or SRP, and/or filesystems such as NFS and SMB. Starting with as little as 48TB, a WARP 38001 appliance can scale as high as 7.2PB in a single rack today.
The series is available in a variety of fully integrated configurations using high-capacity HDD, performance intensive SSD, and maximum write IO NVMe modules. The WARPware unified storage OS controls which type of media is used for any given piece of data, ensuring maximum performance and reliability.
This provides industry-leading performance, scalability, and reliability, all at a fraction of the cost of competing arrays. Primarily based on the WDS-9460 platform, with some systems using the WDS-2490, three versions have been developed to optimize solutions for different customer vertical and horizontal markets:
StorageMatrix systems optimize for capacity vs. high capacity density. You can store more data in a smaller floor-tile footprint for a reasonable price.
MemoryMatrix systems have a purpose-built, pure memory architecture. This gives you the best IOPS performance and density. You can support metrics such as more database operations, VDI users, or analytics queries, per footprint and dollar spent.
HybridMatrix is the capacity/performance balanced system. It uses SSD and/or NVMe modules to create a multi-TB scale cache. If you have a subset of data which is highly active, vs. a larger, less active set, as many verticals do, then the hybrid solution can provide pure SSD performance with close to pure disk density without breaking the bank.
