The power and performance of the Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 v3 family reaches peak efficiency with the WARP Mechanics AP-3113-PA04, a rack mount Application Platform delivering world-class performance in a package optimized for CPU and RAM density, a full range of PCIe slot options, and an optional internal switched SAS architecture. This workhorse platform is the basis for several WARP Mechanics turnkey storage server appliances.
High memory capacity, networking, storage and I/O flexibility combine with innovative design to provide an exceptional and reliable server for business IT, appliance, data center, cloud and high performance computing applications. The AP-3113-PA04 components are sourced through authorized suppliers to show the transparency and traceability of its supply chain with the Intel® Transparent Supply Chain. This traceability establishes accountability of manufacturing and helps to fight the infiltration of counterfeit components.
The AP-3113-PA04 may contain up to two 18-core processors, yielding 36 cores and 1.5TB of RAM per chassis. In addition to the onboard 1Gb/10GbE ports, the platform supports a wide range of high-speed I/O interfaces. Embedded I/O modules are available with 1/10/40GbE or FDR InfiniBand, freeing up its PCIe slots for other purposes such as additional 1/10/40Gbps Ethernet, 6/12Gbps SAS, or 40/56/100Gbps InfiniBand for high network throughput per node.
The AP-3113-PA04 provides an Integrated Management Module for IPMI 2.0 management with virtual KVM and comes with 4x hot-swap 3.5″ drive bays in front via integrated SAS/SATA controller. For larger capacity, combine it with any of the WARP Mechanics storage platforms or appliances such as the ultra-dense WDS-9460 JBODs, which can scale to over nine petabytes connected to any given AP-3000.
